Who Can We Serve?
- Male or female
- 18+ years of age
- Able to walk or wheelchair reliant
- Individuals with a cognitive disability (an IQ of 70 or less) … OR…
Individuals (perhaps with higher IQ’s) with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, or autism
who additionally have substantial functional limitations in at least three of
following life areas:
- Self-care
- Receptive and expressive language
- Learning
- Mobility
- Self-direction
- Capacity for independent living
- Economic self sufficiency
- Individuals with medical needs:
- Injectible medications (insulin, etc.)
- Taking multiple medications
- Oxygen (in-house and portable)
- C-Paps & Bi-Paps
- Nebulizer treatments
- Feeding tubes
- Colostomies & Urostomies
- Catheterization (supra pubic, intermittent, & indwelling)
- Non-ambulatory (wheelchair reliant)
- Amputees
- Anticoagulant therapy
- Pacemakers
- VNS (Vagus nerve stimulator)
- Dementia
- Other medical needs are evaluated on an individual basis
- Individuals who have been told by their current residential provider to consider
other options due to a change in medical condition (often something as simple as
the individual having to begin using a wheelchair or becoming diabetic).
- Individuals desiring an encouraging, fun, high-activity lifestyle despite their
developmental or medical challenges!
